Little Things Vol. 3
Life Lately

You know, I was wondering when I last updated this blog. As much as I want to say "I can't believe it's been a year..." truth is, I'm surprised it's only been a year (well a little bit over, but oh well.)
Honestly, I am having a hard time keeping up. This space was supposed to be for all my reading endeavors, but I find myself with nothing substantial to share.
Anyway, this weekend was camps for both my kiddos. I accompanied my youngest on hers since she's still having a hard time doing sleepovers on her own.
Also, I've been knitting more. I am in the process of finishing a second shrug, then I will be working on a summer cardigan for myself.
Reading

Stars Too Fondly by Emily Hamilton: There is a big chance that I have DNF'd this before this post goes live.
Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazelwood: I started reading this last week, and I am enjoying so far. I will read whatever this woman writes. I still have her older books to work through, but I am already so excited for Mate (sequel to Bride).
It's In His Kiss by Julia Quinn: The Bridgerton series has a place in my heart which I don't understand, and yet I am willing to fill. This particular book is Hyacinth's story and I am not quite sure if I'm ready for her to grow up yet. I have Gregory's book lined up after this, and I am in the same boat with him. I wonder if it has something to do with watching the series along side reading the novels and seeing the actors who played these characters grow up "in front of me".
Always The Almost by Edward Underhill: I have had my eyes on this for a while. I'm glad our library had a copy.
A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara: This is currently on pause, because my heart can only so handle so much.
Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors: No thoughts at the moment, besides the fact that I have had a pleasant experience with this book so far.
1984 by George Orwell: This is being read in little bits because I find it dense, and once in a while the story itself pisses me off. It's though provoking, but it pisses me off.
Watching

I've recently gotten into BLs...
No that's a lie, I've always been into BLs...
I have, however, recently gotten into FortPeat. I don't even remember how I came across Thai BL shows, but I did, and Fort popped up on my screen, and well here we are. My Instagram and Tiktok saves are just FortPeat being cute together, behind the scenes footage from Love Sea, and photoshoot edits where these two look DIVINE. Come to think of it, I should really start watching Love In The Air.
Not that anyone is reading this, but if you have any BL recommendations, let me know. LOL.
