Top Ten Tuesday 2

For this week's Top Ten Tuesday, I share with you books or covers that feel/look like summer.

Emily Henry's Happy Place and Beach Read always give me summery feels not only because of the scene on the covers, but also because of how bright they are.

Maps in general are usually in my radar during the summer as there are more time to actually do road trips or exploring around either in the city, or the country. Hence, Paper Towns by John Green.

Carley Fortune's Every Summer After simply has an outdoor pool (atleast that's what I think it is) on the cover, and where I'm from, outdoor pools open in the summer.

A lot of Elin Hilderbrand's books have covers that will easily remind you of the summertime. I haven't actually read any of her books so I can't say if they also are set during the summertime (or anywhere near the beach!)

This One Summer by Jillian and Marika Tamaki follows Rose on the summer her parents can't seem to stop fighting.

Molly Knox Ostertag's The Girl From The Sea centers around fifteen-year-old Morgan, and her enthusiasm to leave the island she's living in. When she meets a girl named Keltie, they instantly become friends, and she's suddenly doubting her initial feelings towards leaving the island.

Viva Lola Espinosa is set in a summer when Lola gets sent to Mexico City to learn how to speak Spanish. It's a summer full of learning about her heritage, and herself.

Have you read any of these? Let me know what you think in the comments!

Henry and Fortune for sure! It's not summer for me without a Henry read. 😉 Happy summer reading!

The Elin Hilderbrand covers are exactly what summer beach reads should look like! Good list!

I know right? The covers alone are making me want to read them.
